Yann Ramin is the technical lead for the Observability Team at Lyft, where he leads efforts in all things monitoring, providing tools and services to enable Lyft engineers to build world class systems. Yann has a background in massively distributed sensor networks, which carried over to leading the efforts on extremely large scale time-series databases and processing systems at Twitter. He has special interests in high performance storage and aggregation systems, visualizations, compilers and virtual machines.
