Tom Quan joined TSMC in 2007 as Deputy Director of Design Methodology and Services Marketing. Currently he is the director of Open Innovation Platform Marketing. Prior to joining TSMC, he was the Vice President of Marketing at Applied Wave Research, Inc., and held senior management positions at Cadence Design Systems, Inc. He began his career at Intel Corporation as an IC designer and has decades of chip design, technical/product marketing, strategic planning and business development experience. Tom holds an MBA from Santa Clara University and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
