Theresa Sexton is a Managing Director at Claritas Capital where she spends her time sourcing and evaluating privately held companies seeking early and growth capital. She focuses on healthcare, technology, and business services companies primarily located in the southern corridor of the US.

In addition, Theresa works with existing portfolio companies on near term business planning and also leads business development efforts on behalf of the firm, which also includes debt and real estate fund strategies. Prior to Claritas Capital, Theresa spent over 10 years with Massey Burch Capital Corp., a venture capital firm, where she was involved in investor services, fund administration, cash management, and special projects involving the Small Business Administration, in addition to internal transaction support.

She earned her M.Acc and MBA from Belmont University.
