Steve Dertien is a Senior Vice President of Technology for PTC’s Office of the CTO. He is responsible for driving the corporate technology strategy across the PTC businesses and evangelizing our strategy with PTC’s customers and partners. Previously, Steve Dertien served as a General Manager and Senior Vice President for the IOT Solutions Group leading the IOT go to market activities for PTC’s direct customers. He has also held prior positions as a Senior Vice President, Office of the CTO and as a Technical Vice President with the PTC Enterprise Deployment Center. Steve Dertien has over 16 years of experience in managing, architecting and deploying technology solutions in large scale enterprises with increasing demands for IT transformation, globalization, security, cloud computing, scalability, durability and performance. Steve Dertien joined PTC in 2000 as a Technical Consultant with PTC Global Services. Through his nine years with Global Services Steve Dertien furthered his PTC career from a Solution Architect to Chief Architect in North America.
