Stephen Tang (Dublin) joined KKR as part of Avoca Capital, and is responsible for the sourcing of European direct lending investment opportunities for KKR Credit. He was a founder member of Avoca in 2002 and worked in a number of roles including investment analysis, trading and portfolio management. He previously worked as an associate director at Allied Irish Banks Acquisition Finance, responsible for arranging and structuring senior and mezzanine debt finance for large leveraged buyouts and acquisition financings. He also set up the high yield bond business within Allied Irish Banks acquisition finance business. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants having qualified with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a B.Sc from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters of Accounting from University College Dublin.
