Sonsoles Rubio Reinoso is currently on the Vocal Comité Directivo of Instituto de Auditores Internos de España. From January 2013 to late 2014, Sonsoles served as Chief Compliance Officer of Iberdrola and was responsible for all aspects of the compliance activities for Iberdrola Group, leading the continued dissemination of, awareness of, and compliance with the Code of Ethics of the Company and the implementation of the Iberdrola´s antibribery and anti-corruption efforts. She was responsible for promoting the highest ethical standards in all of the countries Iberdrola operates.

She holds a Degree in Economics and Business from the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid and completes her training as post graduated at the IESE business School. She also holds a Master Degree from ICEA. She is Certified Internal Auditor (Internal Audit Institute); Certified Fraud Examiner (Association of Certified Fraud Examiners) and Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics)

Sonsoles has several years of experience in the Internal Audit area and has worked for many listed international companies in Spain.Throughout her career she has published articles and given lectures as well as taught as a Professor for different seminars in Spain.
