Graduated from the Faculty of Law, The University of Tokyo in 1993. Joined The Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan, Ltd. in 1993. After working at UBS Securities Co., Ltd. in 1998 and Mitsubishi Securities Co., Ltd. in 2004, joined Monex Beans Holdings Co., Ltd. (currently Monex Group Co., Ltd.) in May 2005. In October 2007, he became a director of Monex Securities Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Monex Group, Inc. At Monex Group Co., Ltd., he became an executive officer of the company in October 2010, a managing executive officer of the company in June 2015, and a co-CFO of the company in April 2016. President and CEO of Coin Check Co., Ltd. since November 2019.
