Sam is a data scientist and backend software developer, with experience in the commercial application of distributed machine-learning algorithms. Prior to Freebird, Sam served as a multi-team technical lead on a large-scale data analysis and classification project at an energy intelligence company. He is also a researcher at the MIT Computational Cognitive Sciences Lab.
