Sakae Suzuki (Tokyo) joined KKR Capstone in 2013 where he supports portfolio companies in Japan as well as in Asia. Prior to joining KKR Capstone, he was a principal at McKinsey & Company in Tokyo, where he primarily served manufacturing and service companies in topics such as operational performance improvement and global marketing over 12 years. Prior to McKinsey, Mr. Suzuki held positions at ZS Associates, Global Freight Exchange, and Gateway Japan. Mr. Suzuki holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from the California Institute of Technology, and a B.A. from Reed College.
