Ran has a primary focus on SaaS and data-driven businesses across a variety of sectors, with additional focus on financial technology, business services, internet and consumer investments. He is actively involved with NVP investments in PICS Auditing, The Rainmaker Group and The Retail Equation.

Before joining NVP, Ran was an analyst at Union Square Advisors, a technology investment banking firm. At Union Square Advisors, Ran advised technology companies and financial sponsors on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, financings, and divestitures. Prior to Union Square, Ran worked as an analyst in the Asset Backed Securities group at Citigroup.

Ran holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical and computer engineering from Cornell University. Ran is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate, having passed the level III CFA examination.
