Peter Nachtnebel joined Advent in 2009 from UniCredit Markets & Investment Banking where he was a Managing Director in charge of financial sponsors and leveraged finance for Central & Eastern Europe, including Austria, Russia and Turkey.

Prior to this, Peter spent seven years at Creditanstalt (later Bank Austria), latterly as head of debt origination for acquisition and structured finance, having previously led the bank's CEE corporate and project finance telecoms and media practice. He also helped to establish its merchant banking operation.

Before joining Creditanstalt, Peter worked at the Industrial Scientific Institute and was an Economics lecturer at the University of Economics and Business Adminsitration in Vienna.
