Matt Codrington is the Managing Director of Lenovo (Australia & New Zealand) Pty Ltd and is responsible for Lenovo’s business within the ANZ region across all Government, Commercial, Consumer and Emerging PC+ segments. With the recent acquisition of the IBM x86 server business, and the Motorola mobility business from Google, Lenovo is uniquely positioned both globally and in Australia as one of the only manufacturers with a complete End-to-End (E2E) portfolio from the smart phone handset through all Tablet and PC categories to the Enterprise Sector and Data Centre.

Matt joined Lenovo in 2006 in Singapore at the AP Centre of Excellence and in January 2009 Matt was appointed Director of Operations (COO), Japan where he was responsible for the management function of the Lenovo PC business as well as supporting the joint venture between Lenovo and NEC, before moving into an Executive Director role responsible for all Product Strategy as well as ownership of the SMB commercial P&L and all Partner sales teams in Japan.

After six years abroad, Matt returned to Australia and was appointed as Managing Director for Lenovo ANZ in April 2013.

Prior to joining Lenovo Matt worked in a number of large global IT vendors in various Product Marketing and Sales roles over 10 years.

Matt is a non-executive Board member of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA), a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the International CEO Forum Group.
