Mark joined Trainline in January 2017 and has responsibility for UK Consumer, International Consumer and B2B business units as well overseeing marketing and product development. With deep digital expertise and a track record of operational, strategic and commercial achievements, Mark has a wealth of experience running high-growth business across international markets. Prior to Trainline, Mark held the role of COO at Betfair, one of Europe’s largest digital businesses, where he was responsible for all operations outside the USA, including commercial management, product development and customer service across Sportsbook, Exchange and Gaming products. He oversaw significant international diversification from regulated businesses in UK, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Romania and Bulgaria and, as part of the Betfair Group plc management team, returned the company to strong top line growth resulting in significant value creation for shareholders.Mark’s career began in investment banking, where he had extensive experience of raising equity capital for public companies.
