Louis T. Dubuque, a managing director and chief credit officer at Advantage Capital Partners, works on formulating investment policy, identifying and closing new investments, and portfolio management. Louis Dubuque currently serves on the board of BizCapital, the small business lending division of Advantage Capital. During his tenure with the firm, he has been instrumental in helping raise more than $400 million and has been involved with 26 transactions totaling in excess of $130 million. These investments have attracted an additional $58 million of follow-on capital.

Louis Dubuque joined Advantage Capital in 2006 after nine years at U.S. Bank where he served as senior vice president. At U.S. Bank, he created and managed a $400 million subordinated debt fund and managed the capital markets division’s middle market group. Louis Dubuque also spent six years as a commercial loan officer for JP Morgan Chase (formerly First Chicago/NBD Bank).

Louis Dubuque serves on the executive board of the Independence Center, a St. Louis-area nonprofit organization that supports adults with mental illness. In recognition of his professional achievements and community involvement, he was named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s 40 under 40 list in 2003.

Louis Dubuque holds an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
