Dr. Liao Jun is a professorate senior engineer of the Institute of China Unicom Network Technology, and he is also a postdoc of the communication and information systems. He is the deputy leader of the Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance (AIIA) standard group. Dr. Liao Jun has over 18 years of experience in computer technology, telecommunication, and mobile Internet industry, and is also the leader of China Unicom's AI field.

Dr. Liao Jun has been engaged in the research of Telecom intelligence for a long time. He is one of the initiators of GSMA intelligent terminal user experience project. He was responsible for China Unicom intelligent pipeline project. He had a deep understanding of telecom operators’ big data such as signaling data and user behavior data. He has won many awards from industry and enterprises for his research. In recent years, Dr. Liao Jun has actively promoted AI enabled tele network in the world. Dr. Liao Jun promoted China Unicom's deep cooperation with Tencent, Baidu, Alibaba and other Internet Co in the field of AI. The artificial intelligence team led by Dr. Liao Jun studies deeply the application of artificial intelligence in the network and business of telecom operators, including network intelligence, the intelligent consumption Internet, and the intelligence industrial Internet. The research achievements of Dr. Liao Jun's team have contributed to the development of AI in the field of telecommunications.

Dr. Liao Jun received a bachelor's degree from Southwest University and received a master's and Ph.D. degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He was engaged in postdoctoral research at Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and China Unicom.
