Before joining Spark in 2015, Kevin spent over 20 years as an early employee at a handful of startups, working for visionary entrepreneurs John Macfarlane (Software.com, Openwave, Sonos,) Jack Dorsey (Twitter, Square) and Evan Williams (Blogger, Twitter, Medium).

Kevin was employee number 7 at Software.com (which became Openwave) where he helped ship the first mobile browser on over a billion phones, launched the first mobile messaging services, and mobile web sites. At its peak, Openwave had 3000 employees and a $14b market cap traded on the NASDAQ: OPWV.

In 2008, Kevin joined Twitter—when there were 12 employees as Head of mobile products where he hired the teams that built the SMS service, mobile web site, all of the native apps, and integrations into iOS, Android, and Blackberry. Kevin later became vice president of business and corporate development, where he ran M&A, strategic partnerships, the developer ecosystem, and media and entertainment relations.
