As President of the Hearst Interactive Group since 2002, Ken Bronfin has overall responsibility for the rapidly growing set of digital businesses and investments within Hearst Interactive Media. In addition, Bronfin has corporate responsibility for a variety of internally-focused objectives focused on development, innovation and technology. He sits on the Boards of several of Hearst Ventures portfolio companies. Bronfin joined the Hearst Corporation in 1996 as Deputy Group Head of Hearst Interactive Media.
Prior to joining Hearst, Bronfin worked for the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) for 10 years, during which he held a series of increasingly responsible roles, including his role as a founder of the Interactive Media Group. Other assignments included General Manager of NBC's Digital Television Group and Vice President of NBC Cable and Business Development.
Bronfin holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA in management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
