Karan Swani (Mumbai) joined KKR in 2005 and is a Director in KKR India private equity team. Mr. Swani has been integrally involved in the acquisitions of Coffee Day Holdings, TVS Logistics and Gland Pharma in India; GenesisCare in Australia; and HCA and Accellent in the United States. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Swani was with UBS Investment Bank in Los Angeles, where he was involved in a broad range of mergers, acquisitions and financings across various industries. He holds a B.A. with honors from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
