Julian Wolhardt (Hong Kong) joined KKR in 2006 and is Regional Leader of China (Mainland and Taiwan). He has been actively involved in advising on investments in Yageo Corporation, Modern Dairy, Tianrui Cement, Far East Horizon, and COFCO Meat. Before joining KKR, Mr. Wolhardt was with Morgan Stanley Private Equity and was most recently responsible for its private equity business in China. Previously, he was with the mergers and acquisition Group of Lazard Freres & Co. and before that he was with Coopers & Lybrand’s Financial Advisory Service Group. He received a B.S. with honors from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
