Jonathan Roger is the Founder & CEO of Siccar Point Energy. Jonathan has over 25 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry which commenced with 12 years at Conoco in a variety of technical and managerial roles. This was followed by 6 years in Venture Production plc initially building and leading Venture's gas business, including the business expansion into the Netherlands, and culminating as the Chief Operating Officer on the main Board.

In late 2009 Venture was acquired by Centrica plc and Jonathan remained to lead the combined Centrica Energy Upstream business ultimately building it into a 200,000 boepd international business. Jonathan left Centrica in 2013 with the aim of founding a new Private Equity backed business focused on the North Sea and Siccar Point Energy is the result.
