Iason Vittorias grew up in Rhodes, Greece and studied Electrical & Computer Engineering at the country’s largest university. Soon after his graduation he pursued a PhD degree on haptic telerobotic systems at Technische Universität München. After his PhD graduation he joined the central R&D department of Siemens AG, in Munich. Currently he is a Research Engineer at Corporate Technology in the area of Mechatronics & Robotics responsible for autonomous systems and hardware technologies.
