Gil is in charge of developing the core systems and technologies that are powering the Flatiron platform.

Prior to joining Flatiron, Gil built web scale data processing systems at Facebook and Microsoft.

Prior to that experience, Gil worked on high performance mission critical systems as a researcher, consultant, and R&D group manager in elite technology units in the Israeli Defense Ministry.

Gil holds a Ph.D. in computer science in the field of scientific computing from Tel-Aviv University.
