Duncan Smith (London) joined KKR in 2014 as part of Avoca Capital, and is a member of the risk management team for KKR Credit. Mr. Smith has over 20 years experience in monitoring and implementing risk controls within financial services institutions. Prior to this role, Mr. Smith was an interim director involved in valuation control for HSBC's asset backed businesses division. Previously, Mr. Smith was head of credit and emerging market analytics as Deutsche Bank. Prior to this role, he was head of European credit product control at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Smith is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a B.S. in Accountancy from City of London Polytechnic.
