David T. Perry is Chief Global Business Officer and President Northrop Grumman International of Northrop Grumman Corporation, a leader in global security.

Perry is responsible for the company’s domestic and international business development and business acquisition efforts. He is also a member of the company’s corporate policy council.

Perry previously served as vice president and general manager of the Naval and Marine Systems division of Northrop Grumman’s Electronic Systems sector. He joined Northrop Grumman in 1999, as a marketing manager responsible for submarine-related programs. He has held a number of increasingly responsible assignments within the company’s Electronic Systems sector. In 2005, he was appointed vice president of Marine Systems.

Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, Perry had a distinguished career in the U.S. Navy, serving in a variety of assignments including junior submarine officer on the USS Hawkbill (SSN-666) and engineer officer on the USS Dallas (SSN-700), in addition to numerous other deployments and shipyard assignments. He also served as assistant professor of Naval Science at George Washington University.

Perry earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and a master’s degree in Engineering Administration from The George Washington University. He also completed the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program.

Perry currently serves as a board member for Sentinels of Freedom, a non-profit organization supporting wounded warriors. He also is a member of the University of Virginia Diversity Council and the University of Virginia School of Engineering advisory committee.
