David has worked with education institutions for 17 years. Currently working for Oracle’s Education and Research - Industry Solutions Group, David is Director for the Education and Research Industry for the EMEA region

David is responsible for providing industry expertise and supporting the growth of Oracle in education and research. David covers all solutions – applications and technology - but is the group’s global lead for institutional excellence solutions which includes ERP and EPM.

Prior to his current role, David worked at one of the world's leading, research intensive universities - Imperial College London - for nearly 10 years. David worked in the central IT department delivering many programmes and projects related to student and research information management systems and processes. Before Imperial, David spent the first part of his career working for Oracle as a functional implementation consultant; mostly implementing student management systems across many higher education institutions.
