Dave Riess is a co-founder and the CTO of [Wunder](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/wunder), a company that connects accredited investors to a diversified fund of solar projects. He was previously a researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

Before that, he worked as the VP of engineering at AlphaBoot and as a product manager at Knewton.

Riess holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from University of San Diego.
