Columbus Cooper is the Director of Global Messaging Operations at Citigroup, since 2010.

Prior to Citigroup, Cooper was Presidsent of IT at Sarata.

Previously, Cooper was a Director of Telecommunications with First Union Capital Markets, Charlotte, N.C., from 1997 to 2000. Responsible for Data Networks, Internet Connectivity, Network Security, Remote Access, Mainframe Connectivity and Disaster Recovery. Platforms supported included UNIX, NT, Novell, AS400 and Mainframe computers.

Prior to that, Cooper was the Systems Programmer/Project Leader with SRI International, Menlo Park, CA., from October 1983 to 1991.
