Caimin Jones joined Silver Lake in 2011 and is an Operating Partner. He has over 16 years of experience in both operational and advisory roles, with extensive cross-European experience in the automotive, energy, financial services, biotechnology, and technology sectors. Prior to Silver Lake, Mr. Jones was a Director in Alvarez & Marsal's Private Equity Performance Improvement Group in Europe, where he worked with a range of private equity sponsored businesses, typically related to operational turnarounds and carve outs, and managed the transitional services for Lehman Brothers Holdings in Europe. Prior to his service at Lehman, Mr. Jones worked for Marakon Associates, a boutique strategy consulting firm, where he worked on a number of large scale, growth oriented, turnaround projects in the financial services and pharmaceutical industries. Mr. Jones started his career as a software engineer in Ireland developing short messaging systems for mobile networks in Europe, United States, and Japan, and subsequently managed large-scale energy infrastructure projects at Siemens AG. Mr. Jones holds a B.E. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Limerick, Ireland, an M.B.A from IMD Business School in Switzerland and an L.L.B from the Open University in the UK.
