Blaine MacDougald (New York) joined KKR in 2011 and serves as Co-Head of Credit Research for Credit. In addition, he is responsible for covering a number of sectors for Credit and for managing several pools of opportunistic capital. Mr. MacDougald is also a member of Credit's Portfolio Management Committee. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. MacDougald was a vice president with the Credit Opportunities Group at D.E. Shaw & Co, where he invested in public and private equity and credit opportunities. Previously, he was an associate at RBC Capital Markets. He earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University, and is a CFA Charterholder.
