Billy Butcher (New York) joined KKR in 2004 and is a member of the real estate team. Prior to helping to establish the firm's dedicated real estate business, Mr. Butcher worked in the Firm's corporate private equity business, including moving to Tokyo in 2006 and 2007 to assist in developing KKR's pan-Asian operations. Prior to joining KKR, he was at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in its technology, media and telecommunications investment banking group, where he was involved in a number of merger, acquisition, and financing transactions. He holds an A.B., summa cum laude, from Princeton University, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he was the Henry Ford II Scholar and an Arjay Miller Scholar.
