Ben brings a wealth of experience from his 24 years at Houlihan Lokey, a global investment bank, where he served as a strategic and financial advisor to companies across a wide variety of transaction settings and industries. He helped build Houlihan Lokey from a relatively unknown small valuation firm into one of the more successful independent financial advisory firms in the world. Primary responsibilities included originating and maintaining client relationships while leading transaction teams that provided financial advice in over 200 corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations, equity reorganizations and strategic alternative assessments to startups, private and public companies, and their respective boards of directors. Ben also served in numerous senior management positions, including as co-head of Houlihan Lokey's Fairness and Solvency Opinion Practices, co-chair of the Fairness Engagement Committee, and was a senior member of the Financial Advisory Services Management Committee.
Ben received a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA in Finance and Management Policy from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. Ben is a long-time board member and passionate supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago. He also serves on the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation’s Board of Directors.
