Austin Byers was the first backend engineer at Panther Labs and is now one of their Principal Platform Engineers.

Prior to Panther, Austin worked as a software engineer on the Airbnb security team. He is the primary author of the open-source BinaryAlert malware scanner and a contributor to StreamAlert
