Al Sisto is the Director of Investments and North America at Tern Plc. since March 2014.

Al’s experience includes senior executive in general management including as Chief Operating Officer of RSA Data Security Inc, the leading software company specialising in security where he was responsible for changing it from a passive patent licensing operation to an aggressive, sales oriented software company and negotiated partnership agreements with IBM, Intel, Compaq, Cisco and Nortel.

Al was Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix Technologies Ltd, a leading BIOS software company operating globally, where he revitalised that business, acquiring the internet appliance business Ravisent Technologies, investment in semiconductor and microprocessor designer Transmeta and spinning off in Silicon Corporation.

As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of HIFN, Al repositioned the company through acquisitions and repurposing technology leading to its merger with EXAR.

As a corporate, private and venture Investor, Al has and serves as a Board Member at over twelve companies were he led or advised on growth strategies, complex financing transactions, compensation issues and profitable exits, including three public offerings.

Al holds a B.S. in Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
