Alan Burke (Dublin) joined KKR in 2014 as part of Avoca Capital, which he co-founded in 2002. Mr. Burke is a Co-Head of KKR's Credit business where he works closely with the credit portfolio teams to help drive investment performance, strategy, business development, and coordination across the platform. He also chairs KKR's European Leveraged Credit Investment Committee. Before founding Avoca, he was a director of acquisition finance at Allied Irish Banks, where he led a team responsible for structuring and arranging senior and mezzanine debt finance for leveraged buyout and acquisition financings. He was also responsible for structuring the bank's collateralized loan obligation funds. Mr. Burke qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen. He has a B.Comm with first class honors from National University of Ireland, Galway and a Masters of Accounting from University College Dublin.
