Co-Founder and General Partner in OTB Ventures Graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics and is also Alumni of Stanford University - Graduate School of Business. Founder and CEO of Expander (Poland) as well as Co-Founder of Platinum Bank (Ukraine). Adam Niewiński started his professional career in 1997 at The Boston Consulting Group where he worked as a consultant specialized in financial services sector. As of 2000 he was building a team, acquired financing and subsequently established Expander, which became probably the first polish FinTech. Since 2002 up till 2017 had been associated with the UniCredit Group where he started working in the Central Brokerage House of Bank Pekao S.A. as Deputy CEO responsible for all business activities (investment banking and wealth management). Next, he became CEO of Xelion Investment House – a failed corporate start up that he successfully relaunched to become a leading platform for Personal Financial Advisers with $1b of AuA. In 2015 he was appointed Deputy CEO of Bank PEKAO SA responsible for Private Banking Division as well as Small and Mid Corpo acquisition and financing. He was also the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Xelion Investment House, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Private Equity Managers, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Central Brokerage House of Bank Pekao S.A., Member of the Supervisory Board of Pekao Investment Banking, and Member of the Management Board of the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts by the Zachęta Gallery – National Gallery of Art.
