Haas School of Business is an American university that offers a range of academic programs that include Master of Business Administration, Ph.D., Master of Financial Engineering, undergraduate programs, and executive education programs.  The school is one of 14 schools and colleges at the University of California, Berkeley.

The Haas School of Business offers seven areas of general management fundamentals for students to focus on. They include accounting, business, and public policy, economic analysis and public policy, finance, management of organizations, marketing, and operations and information technology management. Additionally, students can earn a certificate in one of five areas of study: global management, real estate, health management, entrepreneurship, and technology.


The school is situated in three connected buildings surrounding a central courtyard on the southeastern corner of the Berkeley campus. The school is planning to expand its facilities with a new commons building shared with the Berkeley School of Law. It is consistently ranked as one of the top ten business schools in worldwide rankings published by The Economist, Financial Times, US News & World Report, and Bloomberg Businessweek.

The Haas School of Business first established as the College of Commerce of the University of California in 1898.
