Speechki is an audiobook recording platform to upscale publishers’ audiobook inventories by several times thanks to synthetic voices. They're backed by Greycroft, Alchemist and the founder of Blinkist.

In 2021 audiobooks are the fastest-growing revenue stream for publishers all over the world. But today, all publishers’ audiobook profit is from only 5% of their catalogs, which include dozens of million books in backlists. And this number grows by 2.2 million titles every year. But they can’t record that 95% as audiobooks because of unit economics.

That’s why Speechki has built a cloud-based audiobook recording platform for publishers containing 403 artificial voices in 77 languages which can help them maximize profit from this channel. Instead of spending weeks and thousands of dollars creating an audiobook, with Speechki publishers can do it in hours for as little as $1,000.
